The ultimate experience of freediving on a seamount in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean!
Princesa Alice is located around 45 miles SW from Faial island and rises from very deep waters (+1000m) to 35m.
Here’s where aggregations of Sicklefin Devil Rays (Mobula tarapacana) can be seen performing their beautiful underwater dance!
Schools of amber jacks, barracudas and tunas are also found here, making this spot one of the best dive sites in the Azores.

This experience is provided with a partner company on board a catamaran or rib, sharing the boat with other freedivers and/or scuba divers.
Charter for a maximum of 4 guests can be arranged (total price 1560€)
Included: Water, snacks and weight belts.
Safety: Freediving instructor as your guide in the water, qualified skipper and oxygen kit onboard.
Not included: Full freediving equipment (2 piece 3mm wetsuit, mask, snorkel and fins). Rental price: 25 euros.
